Westpac Business Bank engaged IBMÂ to help support their Human Centred Design function with the research, evaluation, and design of an integrated payroll solution for their Small-to-Medium business customers. The IBM team performed market research on existing payroll solutions, regulatory requirements (in relation to Single-Touch payroll) and performed an evaluation of Westpac's current technical solution in regards to the opportunity space. The team was then tasked with designing and validating a high fidelity product concept with real customers and present a final evaluation of the opportunity space to the client.
Business Result
Validating customer demand and testing product concepts around integrated single-touch payroll within Westpac Business Banking platform, including development of HiFi prototypes and no-go recommendation to Client to cease additional investment in development.
